It's a shame it didn't work for you the very first time. Unlike foxisapi, the entire setup of ActiveVFP is automated. And that setup(an InstallShield project) can be re-used for any web product you develop.
The biggest reason why it should be easier is that asp.dll (or the ASP.NET dll) is already on the web server and functioning properly. This is not only good for the developer, but, also for the end-user. As I remember, it was quite a struggle to get the foxisapi setup and functioning properly. ...
