I am not using a stored procedure, I am simply executing this query. Why do you highly recommend stored procedures for everything?

>Well, I figured you had just simplified it for illustrative purposes. Are you simply executing this query or are you executing a Stored Procedure? I use Stored Procs for all my data access and highly recommend this practice (though I'm sure not everyone agrees with me there).
