I hope I understand your question. It seems to me your asking how to create emails in VFP without bringing up the MAPI application. Do I have that right?

Assuming I do, I use an application called SMTP.OCX which I got from vb4all.net. Cost me 20 bucks and it did just what I wanted. I based an entire application on it (and a sister app called pop3.ocx) succesfully. Sending an e-mail was something like 5 or 6 lines of code.

There are a ton of OCXs and DLLs that can do this for you. I happen to know and like this one but that is neither here nor there.
