You can't type in something that's not in the array. The thing where you type in the first few letters to get to a selection faster doesn't work consistantly. Nasty buggers.

Sounds like you need to rebuild your combobox. In the design mood, right click
on the combobox. Also remember the combobox is like a little program all to
itself and it does it own thing. You have to learn how the combo works. for example: When the combobox gets new data, you have to re-query.
