LOL, no offense Craig, but I think someone forgot to tell the SQL Server team at MSFT! It's a debatable point whether or not the business rules absolutely have to live in the middle tier.
Since his database is already setup with business rules, is it really beneficial to pull those out and stick them into the middle tier? Isn't that more of a 'subjective' call rather than a 'definitely' call?
I think more info is necessary to evaluate the necessity of moving the rules out to the middel tier. Would you agree?
