if there is excessive heat, then the CPU will degrade over time. The rated lifespan of CPU will decrease if excessive heat [not sure if that answers your question directly].
as to 100% usage ? na - should not be a factor as much as HEAT.


OTOH -
continuous loop ? YAK .
what not put it in the OS Scheduler ?
