Hello All, yes I know this is an old one ! but ! my version has a different slant. Scenario: All Fox data resides on a Novell server, data is accessed by DOS & Windows applications from workstations running XP or Win2K, if a Windows ( run from a XP workstation ) app has already opened a table, a DOS app attempting to open the same table fails with the dreaded error message. This also happens the other way round. It does not happen if both clients are running XP. Using Novell remote console shows that the files are not opened exclusive neither are they locked, if anyone has any info I would appreciate it
