I cannot explain what happened but the MAPI class now works with Outlook Express on the very machine where it has not worked for weeks.

>Hmm... Perhaps the installation, then removal of Outlook caused a reinstallation of a more recent copy Outlook Express (assuming that was your original mail client)? The security feature (disallowing sending of attachments through MAPI) is in both Outlook and Outlook Express. I have heard that there is a tool for disabling this security feature in Outlook (provided that you're using Exchange).
