I’m using VFP8 / SQL Server 2000. I have an animated GIF progress bar control on my form. I’m trying to start the gif, call the SQL procedure and stop it when SQL call is completed.

The problem is that the animation stops when the SQL call starts. Can that we corrected?
How do you get around this?
