Hi John,

vfp usually "scales" well to hardware, and the first check should
be to compare the app locally on each machine.

Also compare the cpu time used to finish the program locally
and across the net - should be identical.

One possibility: some protocols are faster than others.
Compare installed protocols and force both computers to use the same.

Sometimes some HW/SW combination will slow net access.
Token ring is notorious for that:
anything similar in the AMD ?
