Keep in mind that the user was on a web server and a terminal server at the same time (Citrix was running embedded in the browser) - they were actually different machines, but that was transparent to them. Nothing was stored on the user's machine unless they downloaded it.
The print server printed the pdf to the user's directory on the web server. By the time they clicked the report button in the web browser the pdf was there.
>By user's directory, you mean something that is mapped back to the user's local hard drive? Or a user directory on the server that they must have access to for printing the PDF?
