Hi.

I have been tasked with writing a program that dials into a BBS, enters logon information and downloads a file.

When I do this through Hyper Terminal, I am asked for login name and password. Next I input a command that starts the file download. After entering the download command, it tells me “Ready to download file…please start file transfer within 45 seconds” and the file is transferred to my hard drive.

In my program, I am successful up to the part where the file transfer is supposed to start.

Can anyone tell me how to initiate a file transfer using mscomm? I have never written anything that interfaces with a modem, so please excuse my lack of knowledge on the subject.
