I am in the process of converting an old FoxPro 2.6 application to VFP 8. Tonight for the first time on my new fast Pention 4 (2.8 GHz) PC running Windows XP, I tried to open a screen - (MODIFY SCREEN) but got an error message: "File is read-only". This happens to all screens. The screens are NOT marked read-only, and I can edit them from an older Pentium 2 400 MHz machine. I need to open the screens in the older version to view them.

Does anyone know of this problem, and (hopefully) know of a recent patch to fix this problem?
