Thank you for the reply. I looked at DataTable.Select in Help and this is an interesting topic. I don't think it fits with my current problem, but I can definately see where this could help in other situations.

>Have you checked the help files for DataTable.Select? It returns an array of DataRows instead of a DataSet, but it might work faster than going back and forth between xml and Fox functions.
