>Exactly what I do! I have learned the hard way on this one. For example I have a form subclass that has some default settings in the Load (set talk off, etc). The last line of code is ThisForm.AddLoad() which is a custom method of the form where I can put additional stuff at design time without messing with the Load method and concerning myself with DoDefault().
