Hi Timothy,

I think I was confused. Turns out that since VFP7 the default is a new instance. It's in the registry that changes have to be made. If you have VFP7 you can run the samples\solution\winAPI\shellopen.scx to toggle. Sadly, it only changes the behavior for VFP7(I think). I'm going to go looking for shellopen.vcx written for VFP8.
