OK tell me how you are handling the appending of tables and deletion of records. If you are not using transactions the order of the use of the tables is important. But I thought you said you are using transactions - right? What are the buffering modes for the tables. Do you commit? Are you using tableupdate?
John

On the form there are 4 pages of a page frame, 3 of which use the same two tables. On the second page there is a grid with a quantity column. The result of this quantity column is displayed on the third page. For example, if I add two records in the quantity colunm of the second page, these two records are displayed on the third page. If I then delete these same two records from the third page, the quantity is updated on the second page. If I then add 2 more records, the system crashes with error 109 as it is diplaying the 2 new records. I know that this scenario is somewhat far-fetched for a user to do, however, I do not want to field this application with this error occurring. Sorry for the "book" that I wrote. To answer your question, I don't think that I am nesting transactions. The tables are updated in the losfocus events of the cells.
