I have an application developed using VFP6 SP5. It's a top level form.
The main prg includes..

....
_screen.visible = .f.
....
do form mainform
read events
.....

The problems is while exiting the application. If the customer is using Windows XP, no probs, but if the operating system is Windows 95/98/ME, VFP6 generates...

Fatal Error Exception Code=C0000005

...in the line of 'Read Events'

Why???
