I ran VFP7's shellopen.scx in VFP8's IDE and it seemd to remember the settings between runs, but didn't change the default behavior. When I have time I will have to drill down and see what changes I need to make to get it to work. With your DDE recomendation all is working. Thanks!

>Same. Seems to have disappeared for version 8. Have you tried recompiling the V7 one for V8? My guess is that it'll probably work.

Mike
