I don't believe that the Fox Team can do anything about it. If you call a Visual FoxPro form with the WindowType set to 1 (Modal), you'll see exactly the same behavior as you do with ASSERT.

a) you do not know what is a debugger
or
b) you say that the not able VFPT to develop a true one debugger.

I think the a) it is the more probable thing.
