Hi Claudio,

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that incident was when the American Airlines pilot was photographed at the airport as part of a newly imposed requirement for U.S. citizens entering Brazil. As I understand it, Brazil was imposing the rule in retaliation for similar rules in the U.S. requiring photographs of all citizens of other countries entering the U.S. requiring VISAS. I also understand that American Airlines apologized to the Brazilian government, the airport authorities, the police, and anyone else who may have been offended. From what I understand, the crew laughed but NOT the passengers.

>sorry, but I don't think so. Like I told Tom on the other message, if it's a comedy show, yeah, people would laugh. Otherwise, it wouldn't work like that.

>For example, a few months ago, an American pilot gave his finger to a Brazilian authority when asked to be identified. All Americans on the plane were laughing their arses off, and they all were deported back to the US. How do you think Americans would react if a plane filled up with Brazilians has landed over here, and then the pilot goes there, give a finger to the INS guys, or whatever authorities are there, and all the Brazilians on the plane are cracking up, pointing to and laughing at the authority? Would americans laugh at that? As far as I've seen, lots of Americans don't have that great sense of humor when "foreigners" are messing with them.
