As others have posted, we'll need to see more code.

SCAN ... ENDSCAN walks through the records all by itself. You should not need a skip, or to check for EOF().

I have FOR !EOF() on a DO WHILE, but after the ENDWHILE I do a SKIP and it barks at me when I hit the EOF. The quickest answer gets the prize as I'm trying to go home and I can't until I get through this scan logic...
