One thing to remember about a vfp web service that accesses a network share is that you'll need to impersonate a user that has the proper rights to the network (it's the same for a vfp web service that accesses SQL Server). The easiest way to do this is to create a COM+ package that works with your vfp mtdll which is very straightforward when using the Wizard...
>We have a VFP 7 app that users run from a network share. The VFP runtimes are on the share also. This makes user inst?lation easy. We just point a shortcut to the exe and away they go. Now we want to have the application access web services from a .Net app also running on our network. I am assuming that we will use SOAP to access the service. Will the user machines need anything loaded/registered on them, or can we still run everything from the network drive?
