>I believe I saw the same message fairly regularly running a commercial VFP application named SBT 5.0 on Windows 95 machines (no not all of them, just some - puzzling). I messed around doing all kinds of "smart" things like making sure the client machine had the latest version of VFP500.dll, etc. and I couldn't nail it down. I was in the process of rolling my network to all Windows NT workstation and I *never* saw the error under NT - so I just accelerated my upgrade schedule and the error went away!

Check what Tony Miller has to say about video drivers since you say it only happens on your client's machine. Has your client installed some software which is not on your machine and is running concurrently? Also, does your app have any custom DLL's or FLL's?
