Sorry guys if I'm out of place.

Yesterday I updated my Office XP installation with the latest SP3 and security patches. Now i cannot open a document anymore.

In Word I get a messae saying "Le fichier xxx.doc n'est pas disponible" which translate to "the file xxx.doc is not available" and when I close it wants to save Normal.dot (which I already did 4 times). Excel gives a similar message. I can create a new document ans save it but I cannot reopen it!

I don't know whom to turn to so I though I'll ask. If anybody has an idea before I reinstall everything from scratch I would appreciate.
