How can SEEK() return .T. but have the wrong record?

Mark et al,

I have now explicitly SET NEAR OFF, and adding that to my breakpoint list. At no point does SET NEAR change, yet, SEEK() continues to occasionally return .T., although it has come up with the wrong record! ARGH!!
