SQL Server 2000 sp3a is running on Win2k Server sp4. It runs fine from server. I installed client tools on winxp sp1. Now i run query analyzer but it doesn't make connection. It generates error.

Server: Msg 11, Level 16, State 1
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]General network error. Check your network documentation.

any suggestion.
