Hi all,

When issuing a SQLEXEC() on a table in SQL Server, the resulting VFP cursor has a memo field that comes from a field in the SQL table that is of a type of nvarchar length of 4000. The text in the VFP cursor field always has square characters in between each character.

For example, if the text in the SQL table is "This", the text in the VFP cursor will be have the "square" in between each letter.

We did not experience this prior to VFP 8. We went from VFP 6 to VFP 8. Are there any settings that may be off?

Thanks for any help in advance,

Mike
