You can:
KEYBOARD '{TAB}'
or
KEYBOARD '{SHIFT+TAB}'
in the VALID event to move focus.

Also (answering a question in your original post, if it hasn't been already) VFP5 works just fine on the upgrade version of Win95. In fact I use such a machine for development.
