Since SQL is your backend(MSDE would work as well), you can simply define a new DataSource (System DSN) in the Control Panel specifying the IP address. The only other thing is to make sure the port on the Internet Data server is open thru any firewall. Then just access that datasource as you would normally from within foxpro. This should work from a Foxpro desktop app as well as a foxpro web app.

>My company is having our own domain and we have hosted our site, now I wanted to develop a package in VFP front end and SQL as back end (or VFP tables also fine), The database should sit in the server, and the program will be in local PC, If I connect to internet how can I access the data thru internet?. I don't want to develop the package in WEB based . I wanted to only retrieve and update data over the internet connection.
