Hi, all-
Tom O'Hare, host for the VFUG site, has completed some architecture overhauls. There are new URLs for VFUG, including one that is one a different route so should alleviate any problems getting to the site if one backbone is having trouble.
Here are the facts as Tom's posted to the list.

Please note the currently supports URLs are:
vfug.org (port 80)
www.vfug.org (port 80)
www2.vfug.org (currently port 8090)
www3.vfug.org
It is important to use the URLs and not a physical port number. Port numbers are expected to change depending on vendors we use and releases they offer (mainly the www2 prefix URL).
[The URL www3.vfug.org] will use the secondary backbone to the server. The other URLs are all on the primary HTTP backbone. So if there is a problem with the route for any reason, using www3.vfug.org will take you an a totally separate route (IP address and backbone).
Hopefully this will help people when cable cuts and ISP problems come up.
