One problem with putting things like this in the page footer is that your footer will always take the height of the items you place in it. There's no "Remove line if blank" option.

It's still often the best thing to do.

Remember what Robin wants to do: print totals at the end of this report.

Assuming there is a page footer of *any* size at all, rather than not wanting *any* page footer except for the end/summary, often this is the best approach. You can overlay objects and with some IIF()s you can get what you want.
