The problem I'm having is that the valid event will run once when the user hits enter, selects from the combo, etc, and then run again before the control loses the focus. I got around this by having the valid event change the focus as the last thing it did. Putting the change focus in the lost focus event doesn't make sense to me, since I'm changing it to the one that's next in line.
