I was getting errors that dealt with the code in the parent class's gotfocus. Anyway...I stripped all of my code and just left the dodefault() and I still get the error. If I remove the dodefault() I don't get the error. What am I missing here? Isn't having a dodefault() in an event by itself just like not having it there?

vfp3 or 5? 3 doesn't have dodefault...
