Thanks for the reply. I am using a very old version of Installshield Express (2.12). Doesnt the newer version which ships w/ VFP7/8 allow the user to control whether files are installed/registered depending on the date/version of the file? I may have to rebuild my installation routines w/ a new version of IS.....
