I have recently had a rash of 1104 errors and I really don't know where to start looking for the cause. The problem does not seem to be focused on a particular user or file. It is not an error I can reproduce.

We are using visual foxpro 8.0 sp1.
The hub is a 24 port SMC EZ Hub.
The server that the files are stored on runs windows 2000 server.
The users getting the error are running windows 2000 pro or windows xp.

Is this most likely a problem with the server itself?

There does seem to be a large amount of network traffic but not many collisions. Is it likely to be a networking/hub issue?

Any suggestions on a general direction for trouble shooting this problem are greatly appreciated.
