Advantages of VFP

- Object Oriented
- Is a developer tool, Access is really an end user tool
- VFP tables have max size of 2 Gig
- In Access, everything is in one file, if that gets corrupted, you could lose the entire application, not just the data
- VFP can create COM DLLs

>How many of you have moved from MS Access to VFP? What advantages (besides multiuser) does VFP provide over Access? Reason I ask is, I've inherited an application written using MS Access and well it's giving me nightmares (for lack of better words)! I would desperately like to rewrite it using VFP but do not want to re-invent the wheel so to speak.
