>>I have a grid with txtboxes in most columns, but an editbox in one certain column. Sometimes when I try to use Ctrl-A to select the contents of the editbox control, it gets ignored. The work around it to press Home to get to the beginning, then press Shift-End to select to the then end. But, why does Ctrl-A work sometimes, but then not others. There are no controls with .keypress() functions anywhere, so I know it's not that. Isn't Ctrl-A a Windows or VFP standard action?

Well. You are the second one to say that, and I wish you were right. However, my testing reveals otherwise. In .Column1, which has a textbox, Ctrl-A works find, owever, tab over to .Column2 which has an editbox, and Ctrl-A will just laugh in your face. The VFP system and the Edit popup are alive and well in all but this one control. What do you think?
