Stay away from the poker tables at DevCon. *G*

>As some of you know, Rick Schummer recently decided to pursue business opportunities in a slightly different direction and separately from Geeks and Gurus, Inc., where he has been a valued partner for the last three years.
>
>A number of people have been asking Rick why he is marketing all of the tools that Geeks and Gurus have been offering, including View Editor Professional. Rick, being the gentleman he is, was uncomfortable trying to field these questions, and felt that it was my place to explain what has transpired.
>
>Rick's departure from G2 was on the best of terms, but as is often the case, some of the details regarding the terms of his departure were subject of some negotiations. For the most part, we easily came to an agreement of some company assets that Rick would receive in exchange for his stock - software, hardware, etc. However, there were a few items that we had trouble agreeing on.
>
>So, on Rick's last day, we decided to play a friendly little poker game to settle the disagreement. After several hours, things were looking pretty good, but then I got dealt two aces in the hole. There was one item that I wanted Rick to put into the pot (an site license for Tomb Raider), so to sucker ^H^H^H^H^H^H induce him into this, I went "all in" by putting View Editor into the pot (I mean, you gotta go for broke with a pair of aces!).
>
>I knew I had 'im!!
>
>The flop turned up a queen and a five, the turn card was another five, and the river was another queen!
>
>And there was Rick with a five in the hole, for a full house against my aces and queens!
>
>He always was lucky!
>
>Anyway, now you know the rest of the story!
