Just a thought. If the table that you are trying to corrupt is on the network could could try to do everything that Hilmar said but instead of powering off the machine try to unplug the network cable.

I don't know if that would work. (I have never had the need to corrupt a table on purpose <s> but it does seem to happend a lot if the data is on a Novell server)
