>>>Does anyone know if it is possible to change the color of the text and background of the window that pops up when the ErrorMessage Event is triggered? What changing the color of the text of the window that pops up when WAIT WINDOW is issued? I have tried Control Panel without success.

I can't think of any way to change WAIT WINDOW colors within Fox, but it is a system message window and one if the appearance settings shoudl address it as well.

In the old days of FoxPro for Windows and DOS, you could change system colors through the use of COLOR SCHEMES. For example, you could say SET COLOR OF SCHEME 5 TO N/BG and change controls that used color scheme 5 to a foreground color of black on cyan. Now, I *think* that system messages, such as WAIT WINDOW are controlled by SCHEME 5 but my VFP docs no longer list what scheme controls what. Maybe someone else here on the UT can help out as to which SCHEME it is and if it still functions.
