Hi All

I have been looking at the VFP _crypt.vcx with some interest. However, I have heard that encrypting on a machine running any Win2k or earlier OS, and decrypting on a machine running any XP OS, will return an unexpected value. I understand that this is because the crypto api dll is different on XP machines than on earlier OS's. I also understand that there is a property to set to make the encrypted string/file etc machine independent, but that it does not work.

Is this information correct?
Has anyone had any experience with this class? Thoughts?
