Mel,
>>I need a VERY simple application, preferable one that is written in VFP or one I can call from within VFP, that will publish very simple and small web sites
At the risk of being a heretic here, VFP may not be your best choice. This is a common problem, web site owners want a nice web site, but do not want to pay the developer to make small changes in individual pages when a price or product changes, and the developer is really not interested in having to do this drudgery.
I work in MacroMedia's Dreamweaver and recommend their Configure 2 product to clients. I as the developer maintain control over the site design, they can make all sorts of changes including new pages, copy and paste from Word, Excell etc.. All without any knowledge of html, ftp etc. Because it is all pure html, you can set up these sites on $5.95 per month hosting services.
Microsoft FrontPage may have a similar feature, but I have no experience with it.
Hope this helps,
David
