What are the reasons for making the move to SQL/.NET? Are your clients asking for it? Are they enterprise users? Will they need to hire a DBA?

>We have a large VFP application that is used by 150 or so clients. Looking ahead, we feel it is time to move the system into something like SQL Server/.NET, but I know nothing about these languages. Is DevTeach a good place to get started? Will anyone be there whom I can talk to personally about the migration, possibly someone who has done something similar?
