Before you restore encryption, try close the file... For example:

cryptor("Customers.dbf","Password",0,256)  &&& Successfully accesses data
Use Customers && Everthing Ok...
* BLa Bla Bla...
Use &&
cryptor("Customers.dbf","Password",0,256)  &&& Successfully accesses data

I think it will work fine...
