That's what I do and what most of experienced Foxers are doing. However, the mere existence of properties which tie a grid to a set of records related to a record in another table... well, it may lead many novices into using a grid just that way, directly on the tables.
In which cases you may just add a paragraph somewhere in the release notes, "does not apply to forms where recno() is used".
