That's true. Security and roles will become even more important. However trapping the ability of some bright graduate to inject some CLR code into an existing query will be more difficult. Just as there is an index-tuning wizard, perhaps Microsoft should be looking at a background process for identifying queries that are insecure? Thinking aloud here...

Anyway COBOL - I wouldn't mind that - but Lisp that would be another matter..
