I don't know if it's worth it, you'd have to decide, but the general idea is you could change the shape during mouse down and mouse up. Your shape, if you want it 3-d, could be several shapes in one container.

Frankly, things like this have never been as important to any of my customers as other things. Just my experience.

I don't know if there are other shaped controls you could try.
