You didn't mention what SQL Server version you're using and what Windows version you've problem with so it's hard to provide you with specific help. Anyway, you may try to install the latest version of MDAC on PC in question http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/downloads/updates/default.aspx#MDACDownloads
