This error appears under a variety of circumstances.
The first thing you should do is make sure you have the latest service packs. For example, in Visual FoxPro 6, SP3 fixed several causes of the "C...5" error. (The latest service pack, for Visual FoxPro 6, is SP5. You can get them from the official Visual FoxPro site: msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro ).
Then, if that doesn't help, try to debug at what point of your code the error appears (if it is a reproducable error), and find a workaround, either alone, or by posting the relevant piece of code here.
